Description
When mentioning a user in a topic or reply using @username bbPress currently turns this into a link to the users profile, we should also send the user an email to notify them that they were mentioned.
BuddyPress already includes a notifications component that performs this exact function, if used with bbPress then @mention notifications are emailed to the user, without BuddyPress though bbPress users are not notified they were mentioned.
Related: #2162, we should also look to updating how bbPress' sends email as part of this, see @r-a-y's comment:30.
