bbPress 2.x executes a relatively large volume of PHP for it being a WordPress plugin. As noted by Millan from ​dev4press.com there may be room for improvement in the loading sequence amongst other areas.

I'd like to keep the technical perfomance discussion and patches here to keep from fragmenting it.
