If you click a link that takes to to an isolated reply, for example:

​https://www.publictalksoftware.co.uk/forums/reply/3327/

If you click on the REPLY link at the top right it will not work.

You have to have the whole discussion visible for this link to work.

I agree, that this is a weird UX.
