Description

Activate bbPress plugin on a Wordpress (v3.4.2) Multisite subdomain and the default setting is unchecked:

Auto role | Automatically assign default role to new, registered users upon visiting the site.

But on visiting subdomain site as any network user, user is auto added as a participant.

If setting is checked, and saved, then unchecked and saved again, network user is not added as a participant.

Does this happen to WP version 3.5.1 too?

Yes, it does the same on 3.5.1 (and 3.5).

The issue can be resolved by simply saving the Forum settings as they are. (No need to check the auto role option, save, uncheck and save again.)
