Add Tag fails for certain words

Existing topic I have not started, as key master. Attempting to add certain words as tags fails to add those tags to the topic. Examples include:

turtle
sholazar

I'm not yet able to confirm a pattern.

This is not word-specific, this is related to the tag history. Tags which were previously assigned to topics cannot be used to tag an additional topic. But it's not that simple - some pre-existing tags do work.

In addition, when a newly created topic is assign an existing tag, the error occurs: "The tag was not added. Either the tag name was invalid or the topic is closed."

I am definitely having the same exact problem with this. Ever since RC2 I can add brand new tags but I get the message above when I try to add existing Tags.
