I don't think this is feasible for 0.8.4. The jQuery JS that replaces the prototype "listman" JS requires template changes.

We don't have enough time to think through the best way to do this.

Perhaps it's time to include replacing Interface with jquery UI aswell. With the next release of jquery UI, I think it's mature enough to replace Interface with it.

This way we have a complete transition to the jquery libary in one bbPress release.
