Description
We chat about it in slack while doing the german translation:
https://dewp.slack.com/archives/polyglots/p1471877909001743
We see
Closed Close the forum
Closed Close the topic
Close Topic Status
Seems like either the close/closed terms are switched or the descriptions are.
Please have a look.

I wonder why it's "Closed" in the translatable original. As far as I understand your screens, it's all imperative form "Close!".
When I see "Close" and the Context "Topic Status" this implies a closeD Topic is shown and I would translate to "closed". But it isn't, right?
First I must understand fully what we have here then we could talk what to possibly improve. :)

After finding these strings and being able to test them in an installtion, to submit the correct translations, I found out that not the original strings are wrong, but the description beneath them.
To avoid more confusion about these strings, it would be great to "change the white text in the grey field". Thanks.
Here are 2 Screenshots/Images of the strings and the corresponding appearance within bbPress below.

Had to change the links in the post before, bc they were not working properly. Sorry.

This is part of what makes English weird, but I think our hints are correct.
- The status of a topic can be open or closed.
- A topic can be opened if closed, or closed if open.
- To open a closed topic, you open it.
- To close an open topic, you close it.
So, "closed" is a unique type of word that 'just sounds better' in English as "closed" in that specific context.
Does that make sense?

- Milestone Awaiting Review deleted
- Resolution set to worksforme
- Status changed from new to closed
I think we can safely close this. I don't believe there is anything to change here.
If so, please reopen, and try to include specific details about what more we can do to make this easier to understand (or on what we've done incorrectly.)
Thanks everyone!
Replying to Presskopp:
Thanks for the ticket @Presskopp
I've added screenshots next to the 3 strings you reported issues with, each shows the function where the string and translation comment is and the location within bbPress where each of these "close" actions take place.
Do the above screenshots help? Is there something you think we could do to improve this?
