bbPress 1.x has this ability, bbPress 2.x currently does not, I think we should look into adding it.

For moderators viewing posts (topics and replies) by IP address is an excellent way to check for duplicate accounts, impersonation, sock puppetry, astroturfing etc.

The following pull request looks to implement this functionality via a plugin for the i18n forums:
