This doesn't fix the original issue for the forum subscription link of adding 'something' (the patch adds a non-break space) between the forum title and forum subscribe link.
r5403 is changing the topic subscription link and I think this should be reverted for now.
I think we can improve on the implementation in r5403 and per #2581 we need to fix various aspects of the favorite and subscription links and filters.
How things currently look with r5403, the separator | is in the wrong place, long titles it moves to a new line etc.
