It would be neat to make the bbPress.org theme responsive so that the site can be easily browsed on a mobile/tablet.

It is on our 'to do' list :)

ticket:2410#comment:3 Going to close this as wontfix. Not that we won't fix it, but that I'd like us to think more about a full redesign (mobile first?) than worrying about integrating too many of the WordPress.org updates.

It should be relatively easy to add what's needed to the bb-base theme. Gautam is thinking of taking this on as part of GSoC this year!

Yes, I saw Gautam's mention of GSoC in IRC and this would be great :)

The bbPress/BuddyPress Plugins and Themes are ​here, and specifically here is the ​bb-base theme.
