Add option to disable root forum archive page

by default a new archive page is created site.com/forums/
that displays all forum index... what if someone does not what this page to be displayed?

It would be cool to add a checkbox to settings page that will remove this page.

There's a checkbox already to remove the slug from prefixing all other URLs, and you can change the 'forums' slug to be anything you want for it to be. You could write a plugin to remove the index faux-page, but I don't think it's something worth adding another UI element for in core.

Moving to future release, in case we want to revisit this as a feature.
