Topic Views is a very popular bbpress plugin (
http://bbpress.org/plugins/topic/bb-topic-views/) and most bulletin board programs have this feature built in.

Voices is already built into the Core. Shouldn't Topic Views be built in as well?

Think about it. Maybe I am missing something but isn't this a pretty basic feature for forums? It does not make much sense to require one to download the plugin to display how many times something has been viewed.
